For this week's Friday Fences, I came across some non-traditional fences.
A gate-fence on the driveway, with a little holiday cheer still hanging.
And a rock wall-fence around the yard. There are tons of these in this area of town, generally made from the rocks dug up in the area when building the homes. I used to have one in my backyard and loved how it looked with flowers growing along the base.

this is beautiful!!!
These fence styles are delightful! They seem to add an extra delightful touch the properties!

Your first fence has such graceful ornamentation and that simple holiday swag is just right. Your second fence is a really beautiful example of a dry stone fence. Very popular in central Kentucky. And you're right about the flowers along the edge.
I just love that fantastic rock fence. Beautiful!
I like the rock wall! I can imagine how beautiful it would be with flowers all around.
The ornamentation on that fence gate looks like a handlebar mustache!
The gate fence is nice, but I love the rock fence, nothing beats those!
Good fences make good neighbors. I would love a rock wall around my yard. I can-t imagine finding that much rock in the ground. I guess you work with what you have and in the northwest, that means chain link. LOL. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, I love those! I'd love to have rock walls and iron gates at my house!
After reading this post, I thought all those beautiful and classy fences are all natural wood. This type of alternative fencing material can really help save our environment. Especially Privacy Picket Fences.
