Tuesday Barn Charm

A couple really big barns on a working farm.  I'm about 1/4 mile from these buildings and they still look huge.
I love how these prompts from other blogs and photographers have gotten me out and about and seeing things I may have otherwise just passed by.  What a neat gift it has been for me.

For more lovely barns:

Great shot...nice composition. I agree with you...joining in on these memes do open your eyes to many things. I now notice so many barns in my travels now.

Hiya M.E.

I like the stark outlines of your photo.

I so agree with your view on memes. I'll be out looking for barns soon. Trouble is, most of them over here have been converted into homes. I wonder if that still counts ...
We live in a converted coach house now, but used to live in a barn that was called the King's Barn, as it once belonged to Henry VIIIth. Hard to believe, but actually true. I did the research in 16th/17th century deeds and archives in our county records.

I love this two in one shot...wonder what the one that is built so low is used for?

For next week, I have a photo of a working barn, too! It's nice to find one that's maintained and useful.

Nice photo. It make me feel that everything is anchored down, solid, and very very still....
