Year-long reading challenge

In the spirit of year long challenges and blogging, I am joining Jenners' Life with Books Take a Chance Challenge.  I love to read, I mean a LOT.  However, sometimes I get stuck in a rut and read the same categories of things.  So this year I am going to be inspired by this challenge to find new things.

Essentially, there are 10 ways to find new books (please visit the link to see them), you blog about what you read, then link up to the associated page to see other books folks found using the same method.  I think it sounds fascinating. You do not have to read 10 books, you may read as many or few as you desire in the 12 month span.  However, folks completing all 10 challenges get entered into an Amazon book drawing.  So really, what is there to lose?  I get to read, find new interesting (or not) material, see reviews from other book addicts like myself, and maybe get a free book in the end.  A complete win of an idea!

Over the next year you will see random book reviews mixed in with my travels and photos.  In its own way, I will still be showing you the places I go...in books.

If you are interested in joining, pop over to the website and add your name to Mr. Linky.

This sounds like a great challenge...I'll have a look. I love to read but have a hard time finding enough time! My best reading comes during the night when I can't sleep.

What an interesting challenge! I have a resolution to blog a bit more about my reading, but I think as a new book blogger I have enough to keep me going already.

Thanks for sharing the information -- I'll check back to see how what you're reading.

Happy New Year!

Sounds like fun - I can't wait to hear about what you have read. Thank you for your comment about me believing in myself - it really means a lot!

P.S. - have you read Eat, Pray and Love?
