Peaceful moment

I've been wanting to join in with Barn Charm, so I kept looking for a good barn.
When I was out in a rural area one morning, I came upon this barn,
holding on for dear life.  I feel like the tree next to it is protecting it and keeping it company.

Can't we all use a friend like that some days?

It was a beautiful serene morning that made me want to stay out in the country a little longer.
Here's hoping for some peaceful moments in your week.

great feeling in this and the surrouding landscape as well as the weather suits the old barn

Ahh the barreness of the land and the bleakness of winter light does gives a sense of being at rest.

Great shot. I too have been wanting to join the meme so I'm still looking for a good barn.

We've got sooo many shots like this in southern Indiana. You should come out and take advantage of it.

It's a beautiful and peaceful scene! The tree does look protective of the barn, and I love how the fog dims the background. great shot!

I love old barns..or just old buildings in general..they look like they have such a story to tell. I would love to see how they were when they were first built, who used them. Lovely barn photo-very serene!
