Cabin Fever

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

A little cabin fever setting in here.

Snow and frigid temps started before fall ended this year.  We are only half way through the winter months and it's getting more challenging to remember the warmth and light.  As the snow continues to fall, I'll enjoy the beauty, remember that cold is but temporary, and listen for the voice of the inner glory.

Sorry I didn't get over yesterday to comment on your barn post but I thought it was so beautiful as I scrolled down the page today.

Now you have another beauty in the shape of a cabin. I really like how you've illustrated your verse with this picture. Isn't it wonderful to know that in spite of all the problems we face God sees the bigger picture and the future and is there to guide us through it all.

This is a lovely photo. I live in an area that doesn't receive a lot of snow, however our long hot summers are wearisome. The scripture you shared is powerful - setting our minds on what is unseen.

Blessings,
Joan

Beautiful photo! Thank you for sharing that verse...it's very encouraging to me. It can be so easy to forget that the here and now is only temporary!

Beautiful!! And yes, spring is coming soon to bring it's warmth and sunlight -- it's unseen, but we're fixing our eyes on it! :)

I love those verses-- they've been close to my heart through several rough patches!

I will freeze in a cabin like this. I watch on my TV your snow storm. Hope it will pass quickly.

Thank you for visiting.
