Friday Fences

Jan has started a new photo meme, Friday Fences.  Here is a lovely split rail covered with roses.

Don't roses make everything a little more beautiful?  I'm thinking of putting some in my front garden next year.  I love the color and smell and would really like to see them when I'm hanging out on the front porch.

I'm hoping to find some fall color this weekend.  The weather folks promise us gorgeous days and nights, so the camera bag will head out for adventure.  I might even bust the tripod out of the trunk for a change...well, let's not get too carried away.

More fences here:

Lovely shot! And I agree, roses are beautiful, especially in such multitude as here.

I do like roses and these look very nice growing along the fence like that.

I agree with you...Roses are so much prettier when they have a fence to decorate. Nice shot...I am anxious also to get out for some Fall shots! Thanks for playing!

A fence with roses clinging to it invites contemplation!

This sure is a pretty entry for Friday's Fences! Wish we had scratch and sniff computers.

I'm so glad that some of these old split rail fences still exist. Saw a lovely example a few weekends ago when out looking for fall. It was "naked" though, unlike yours with those lovely roses. They go together so well.

Ha! Had to laugh about the tripod...I hate using a tripod and I know that is completely 'wrong' thinking for a macro lover. Anyway, about your fence/rose photograph...it's completely and totally lovely.

I can only hope and dream to have TONS of roses one day! : )
