Rough season for the Red Barn

I pass this barn everyday.  It is quite an attractive little building in person and quite well maintained.
You can see, however, that one of the storms a couple months back yanked off a portion of the roof.
The owners - who are a little of a mystery, because there is no house nearby, just fields and a road - tried to put in a temporary patch/fix.  But, that too was crumbled by the high winds and rain of the last 2 weeks.
I hope in a few weeks, the owners will have a chance to really get in there and hammer on a new roof.
I'm pretty fond of this little barn.

That barn is such a beauty--I too hope they get it fixed. It would be a shame to lose it. It looks well taken care of otherwise.

Oh it's a beauty! I do hope they can fix it before it suffers more damage. :)

I like how you shot through the trees here. :)

I can't link into Linky so here's my barn for Barn Charm:

It looks like this barn is still in used. I like the window and yes to fix things immediately can avoid further destruction. Happy Tuesday!

Prayerfully, they'll fix the roof & not let it go or tear it down... I just hate to see these places deteriorate or be destroyed!
I especially like the big white doors & all the windows... she's beautiful! =)

Thanks again for joining in

I absolutely LOVE huge barns like this. I certainly hope they take good care of it! My husband's Aunt and Uncle have a huge red barn that they just fixed up and put a vibrant green metal roof on. Next time we're out there I will take a pic just for you.

I really love this particular old red barn! Hopefully the owners can get the roof in repaired and take care of any other needed repairs.

How are you feeling? :)

It's a cute barn, looks nice and cosy behind the trees! And it looks well looked after, so I'm sure the owner will fix the roof too!
