And so it arrives...

The first winter storm has arrived.
I'll admit, I love beautiful snowy days...from the warmth of my cozy house!

Even the cat is interested.  Ok, there is also a bird feeder
out there, but I'm pretty sure she likes the snow too.

The second shot is SOOC from my iPhone.  If I took the time to grab
my Nikon, I'm sure I would have missed the moment.

I agree it looks just about the same at your place so I guess the cat mostly stays inside. My dog loves snow but now its to deep for him. we walk the roadsides and on the yard I showel for him as well as my way to the birdfeeder :-)

me too...sure she's enjoying the snow; however, pretty sure she was thinking the bird feeder :) ... Have a great week ahead.

What a beautiful photo! I miss the snow, so love seeing snowy photos. My son's cat loves sitting on the back of the sofa to look out the window too.

Look at all that snow - I love one day of snow but I wouldnt' like it any more than that. Kitty Paw would be curious too!

I am with you, I love to look at the snow from my warm home. Cute shot of the cat looking out!

The snow looks beautiful. Of course, kitty is calculating how much fun it'd be in the snow without a thought of birds.

My cat was so excited to chase a bird along the couch in front of the window - but the bird was outside. So frustrating for her! Then today, I found her snuggled against my laptop on the kitchen table. This snow is changing her behavior! LOL

Beautiful Snow Pictures!

Yup. you have to take the shot while it's there. Applies to animal, kids and clouds, for sure.

Lovely winter scenes -- and like you and your cat -- I'd prefer to enjoy it from the cozy living room.

The picture below of the beautiful church and the hawk -- and your lovely words -- are wonderful.

Love the shot of your cat looking out the window. Sometimes the best shots are all about composition.
