Re-purposed Barn

This was one the barns I came across a few weeks ago on my drive home through the country.  I love how it's been reborn into a Indian and Antique shop.  I didn't stop to go in, but I imagine there is a plethora of assorted items in there just waiting to find a new home!

Also, I like how there is a little barn added on the back too.

More great barns at Bluff Area Daily's Barn Charm.

It's good to see this old barn put to some good use even if it's not as a barn. The sign on the roof is reminiscent of roof signs in the early flying days which pilots used to tell what town they were flying above. Nice post.

they did try to make it look a little older, didn't they!

What a great find!
I would have wanted to go inside. I can only imagine what one might find.
I'm wondering if the rough wooden facade isn't the original barn and siding added on the other sides to preserve it.

Happy to hear its being useful instead of sitting there in decay!

It's good to see that whoever owns this beauty found a use for it rather than just letting it rot away to nothing! I love it when someone revitalizes an old barn! =)

Great find & thanks so much for joining Barn Charm!!! =)

Looks like the perfect place for the American Pickers to go...or me. I would love to browse around there.

I like the rustic boards in front--that merges into new siding around the corner. Glad the old gal is being put to use.

Nice that it's being used (and maintained). :-)
